| Half Head Styles |
50 NIS for 8-10 rows, with some variation
of styles such as straight front to back, "sun rays" patterns, or mild
swerves, +15 NIS for very long hair.
100 NIS for complex styles requiring
zig-zags, crossing, or deep swerves.
These are styles that are done only on
the front half of the head. Most people who do this have long hair
they just want to pull back away from the face in an interesting way.
A typical style consists of 8 to 10 rows. |

250 NIS for cowrie shells
300 shekels for the criss-cross or "Belgian
waffle" (you must have at least shoulder length hair for this)
300 shekels for the normal "pineapple"
(cornrows starting along the hairline and going upwards to the crown of
the head, into a braided ponytail)
400 shekels for a two-tiered pineapple
500 shekels for the "Iverson" or combinations
requiring multiple horizontal mini-rows

| Individual Braids (Full Head) |
Individual braids are more expensive
than cornrows because of the time they require. I strongly suggest
that you save the money if you have someone in your family who can braid
normally. If you don't, or if you just feel more comfortable in the
hands of a professional, I'm happy to do it, but my integrity won't allow
me to go without saying this.
Normal sized braids (approximately 2
cm. parts): 100 NIS
Mini braids (African style, with 1 to
1.5cm parts): 200 NIS square parts, 250 NIS diamond parts, 500 NIS triangle
parts (because the sections are about .75 square centimeters and it's a
7 hour job)
Micro braids (approximately .5 cm or
less parts): 950 NIS. Plan for a full day or 10-15 hours. You
may want to break up the time into 5 hour sessions over the course of 2
or 3 days.
4-strand box or lace braids: 10 NIS
per braid.
Crochetted dreadlock: 10 NIS per lock. |
| African Herbal and Mineral Massage |
A type of massage somewhat similar
to Thai massage in which you are moved and stimulated to open up blocked
"energy" in your body, mind, and soul. Special infused oils and mineral
water is used to heal the skin as well. It is a full body experience,
so you should be comfortable with partial nudity. This
service is for women only.

legs done (some people have dry skin on the knees, legs, and feet, and
